Contemporary Shaker Kitchen
An outdated timber kitchen, which aligned with the hexagonal dining style of this 90's home, has now been opened up to service as both a kitchen and separate pantry space.
The main feature of the kitchen is the triple oven towers which were created to screen the messier part of the kitchen where the main sinks are located in a scullery style at the rear of the kitchen. The contrast of the dark island bench serves to pick up on the subtle veining of the stone.
The darker colours were used below eye level to not enclose the room too much since it was already reduced to create the scullery setup. We used the same colour in the glass splashbacks as that of the island bench in Dulux Black Caviar which provides a real elegance to the space.
