Italian Village Passion

Replicating a 200-year-old Italian Village as a project is bound to take passion, ambition and vision. In Australia, some 14,000 kilometres from Italy, it also takes a fair bit of planning and sourcing of exactly the right products to realise that essence of Italian architecture and style.
Not to be overwhelmed by such a project, an ambitious couple has decided to embrace this notion and build their own Italian Village in Sydney. Dividing the project into stages is what Sareen Stone’s client has done to allow time to get the detail right.
While planning of the overall project continues, Stage 1 is now in the building phase – the Studio. The Studio is a barn like structure incorporating large arched windows, dark timber beams across the ceiling and a feature wall of Cotswold Wall Cladding. Cotswold wall cladding perfectly inspires European styling with its random sized pieces and traditional dry stack stone look.
