Natural Rustic Bathroom
In planning this bathroom, our designer worked with the clients to create a space that blends the simplicity of nature, with country charm.
In a compact room, a skylight brings in plenty of natural light while maintaining privacy. The recessing of this skylight creates a sense of height and space; making the bathroom appear larger. LED strip lighting is wrapped around the edges of the vanity mirror, adding depth and creating a pop-out, modern look.
The neutral tones of the cabinetry and the marble vanity top blend well with wood-grain tiles selected for the floors and shower recess. The selection of textured wall tiles creates a natural, rustic vibe while the white gloss finish lends a modern edge.
Floor tiles are a chosen in a wide format timber design that blends seamlessly into the shower recess. Using the same tiles across zones creates flow within the room. It offers privacy without boxing in the shower and maintains a feeling of the spaciousness.
Recessed shelving above the bathtub and in the shower recess adds to the minimalist design and a freestanding wall cupboard offers additional storage for towels or bathroom necessities.
