The starting block for this renovation was the kitchen, with the placement of the sink in the original island bench which negatively impacted with the owners. They found it imposing on guests in a busy family setting, sitting over dishes. Ultimate Kitchens & Bathrooms were engaged to turn the ideas in their head into a functional design outcome. This lead to the creation of a tall run of elegant timber veneer cabinetry which incorporated the wine collection in a glass cabinet and integrated fridge. The position of this seamlessly conceals the heavy duty preparing and cooking area, whilst the striking angled marble island bench creates a real talking point for the entertainment zone. Alongside these changes the outdated ensuite was modernised by levelling the shower with the floor and ensuring all the tiles were kept to the one height. Careful consideration was given to the choice of tiles and materials to tie every element together with the two spaces. Ample storage was included in the wall hung timber vanities with drawers and mirrored cabinets and the luxury showpiece was the freestanding bath positioned next to a picture window.
