I've just finished making/welding my own floor lamp out of a rusty plough disc/fencing wire & reobar..The light & fitting needed to be tagged (sigh) & after weeks of research purchased from Fat Shack Vintage. I configured the curly wire so the cord is unobtrusive and secure -but have to place near a power point. Im pretty happy with end result.
Just needs a gloss coating to keep the rusty look & all done
