There’s a reason galley kitchens are found on ships – they save on space and make for an efficient cooking experience – just about everything you need is within arm’s reach. It’s not all about practicalities, however. As these appealing designs demonstrate, there’s no need to scrimp on style if a galley kitchen makes the most sense at your house.

Love 6, 12 and 14
I could imagine sitting down for a few minutes with a glass of bubbly while waiting for dinner to cook in kitchen 6, just lovely. 14 takes my eye as well also gorgeous.
Number 16 is my favourite, but there are lots of individual elements in these to take away.
Love 7- can’t believe that it is someone’s butler’s pantry.
Number 10- funny, but I did not even notice the bench tops! I was more taken with the timber detail
