open shelving for cookbooks (although, i don't need/want that many shelves :-) perhaps, from bottom to top: drawer for misc, 1-2 open shelves for cookbooks, counter top, upper cabinet for storage love the big window!!!! big island! needs to be flat surface, not to have anything in it (stovetop, sink, etc)
All workspace on perimeter Cabinets need to go to ceiling Island should be larger
Connected, yet separate Would like more counter workspace
Built-in shelves Top bar for rotation of seasonal clothes, and for lesser used clothing
Walk-in pantry Maybe back shelves are deeper to accommodate storage if bulky lesser used items? Maybe also more vertical space between the back shelves!
Lights in the toe kick Columns that separate, yet keep an “open” plan, letting light in from other areas/rooms
Love the windows! Not crazy about the short-height backsplash...looks awkward
Great idea... bringing the outdoors inside, having access to fresh herbs year round
Yes! Natural light over the sinks/counters
clerestory window in the shower
Soothing. Natural light.
Recessed towel rack...cool idea!
Separate, yet together. Open concept, yet distinct rooms
Dedicated station for coffee, wine, beverages. Wines cooler. Replace the glass fronted cabinets with hard doors
Window over sink. Cabinets to the ceiling. Outside door. Unobstructed island
Love the windows! Love the natural light! Stove seems to be a long way from the sink Great island...unobstructed... seating for casual eating
Clean Compact, but appears big To-the-ceiling cabinets Unobstructed island
Good... Large window at sink To-the-ceiling cabinets Large unobstructed island Not good... Not much perimeter countertop Corner cabinet seems awkward Cabinet on left seems awkward, big ... maybe lose the small countertop in front of it? Extend the front of the cabinet to create a visual “room divider”?
Coffee station Wine fridge Storage for glasses/cups/supplies
Engineered granite: “ Dekton’s Helena, also in its Avantgarde collection and shown here as shower wall and vanity cladding, has a translucent appearance in whites and grays, inspired by natural onyx.” (Feb 2020)
Front door is (hidden) on left side. Nice open concept that “hides” the kitchen from immediate view. Dining area could be more separated from kitchen area.
Geode backsplash! Yes!
Straight, no step shower entrance .... long shower ledge
Nice idea ... if there is enough drawer space for everything else
Ability to mix usages of the space
Love the doors and windows!! Light, airy, fresh breezes. Island is too bulky
Omg! What’s not to love? Bright. Clean. Cabinets to the ceiling. Windows at the sink. Windows that open to let in natural breezes. Mmmmmmmmmmm The only thing I might change is the backsplash. The color is ok. I’m concerned with the multitude of grout lines. Maybe much bigger slabs of porcelain/tile instead?
Openness. Light. Windows, although I’m concerned with windows at the stove....greasy? Difficult to keep clean?
Brightness, clean
Spice drawer
Charging station. Does not need to be a drawer
Built-in dividers. Make sure dividers are hog enough to do the job, but not too high that knuckles and fingers get busted
Open, yet separate. “Dirty” work is disguised
Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh
Bifold doors, opening the space
Pass-through window for cooking/entertaining
Outdoor life
With/without screens. Way to incorporate “solid” yet view-friendly closure for winter?
Clean up, and use existing vintage hardware
Walk-in shower. Cleanable surface underneath sinks. Close in the open shelves..... Position room to place celestory windows above mirrors.
Sitting porch. Very southern
Windows. Sink at windows. Island. “Wall” creating a perceived (closed) separate kitchen area.
Second bath. Window. Light. Neutral colors. Spa-like. Soothing. Clean.
Multi-purpose area. Replace microwave and/or add wine fridge
Wall tile
prep sink/counter "on its own" is intriguing love the continuity of the large slabs for the backsplash/wall ("marble-look porcelain cover the entire range wall and the custom hood")
