Master Bedroom Makeover
Another view of the same room. Love the glossy black door!
Kind of similar to my room - vaulted ceiling, bed under window, built ins across. I like the idea of a statement light fixture but this particular one doesn't grab me. The room is a little too spartan for me. I'd put a plant in the corner and an original painting over the fireplace.
Love the bright colours and interesting shapes in this room. There are two framed blueprints - I have a similar blueprint of a sailboat my father built that I want to frame and display.
I like the way the vaulted ceiling is the focal point, just like in my room. Definitely want to maximize this feature.
Kind of masculine, but once again drawn to the deep blue wall, the bright white.
Here is a bedroom with lots of books actually a bit like my room now but I am not crazy about it. Also not super keen on a kilim rug. Need to find something else to do with the books - I do love books around me.
Like the wall colour and softness of the run, will need a low headboard like this. Definitely willing to splurge on a piece of original art I love for the bedroom.
More built ins - also possibly just as good for the attic.
Interesting custom built ins
Love the colour scheme here as well as the barn door for the closet.
This blue accent wall intrigues me
Like the brightness of this room, the white/gray combo. Like the floating shelves - these could go well on the wall shared by with the bathroom, I think.
This wall colour intrigues me but I don't like it with tan. The pop of orange and the green in the pillows are both lovely.
Love the idea of a bedroom with a sitting area for reading/tea. Hate lucite anything.
I really like this room. I like the warm wood, white + blue, black curtain rods, soft gray walls, sconces.
More built ins but these are too busy I think.
When I replace my windows, I am planning to get windows like these. I like the white + jewel tones + wood floors. Not so much the mirror.
I like the boho look of this room and the white with pops of colour and plants. I'd need more storage/substantial side tables though.
More built ins. These could actually be really good for the attic bedroom or a variation along the front wall of the master. I like that there is some open shelving and a ledge but mostly closed storage.
Definitely want a low profile platform bed like this one.
The dark wall intrigues me.
Was this what you were thinking of with bed in closet? I still think I can't sacrifice the storage...
Built ins but don't like these - too mid-century modern.
Like the brightness, the chair under the window
Is this the wall treatment you were thinking of?
Sliding barn door (for closet)
vaulted ceiling, wallpaper on accent wall
built-ins, floating shelves
flooring orientation
