Toby's ideas
Here is the single handle composed for sink. 8 inches high
Houzz deck mounted tub. Handsome.
TUB So, i am headed back to rectangle tub abutting the two walls because in the end i think it would make a much more comfortable bathing experience. It helps getting in, the tub has a ledge, and it is cozy to have the two walls. Set aside the hideous price of this Wetstyle BC 11 (one. of the earliest models you showed us,) it has several advantages. —composite; comes with flanges for 1, 2, or 3 three walls; you could leave the wall by toilet exposed, which i think is ideal . Here one drawback, it is 32” .wide. Would it still fit— esp if you had to build out the wall with the toilet? My guess is you would have to shave 2” inches off the cabinet and that would still give you just three inches of clearance? Is that too bulky in your estimation? I can’t believe there isn't another tub that has flanges thst would allow us to expose that second side!
Is this the right purist for the wall mount for tub? I couldn’t tell? It seems oddly delicate!,
Would the tall faucet fit behind sink.? If so, thst would be my preference. But the lower one is fine.
Thid would be my second choice, at least i think so!
Gorgeous. Big issue with all lights is how they look from underneath Whether you end up staring at a bulb as you soak,
Actually here is an asymmetrical arrangement that works
More shelves
Or here but with shorter shelves!
I like those 4 stacked wood things could work over my tub alcove!
Another idea: too narrower medicine cabinets separated by a mirror. These were the expensive Robern line. Another option is two 24” Verderas side by side.
More mirror plus shelves
another brand 48 by 36". Seems like the ideal size, but don't know anything about quality.
Liked the inside color.
i thought this line seemed expensive at, Now i know better. Can be gotten in a variety lengths. Note the 36” height, i now realize that actually something like 45-48 inch width is ideal so cabinet doors can open past 90’. PS we like light strip on side, but not in middle— moddle makes us feel blinded!
Same two sided exposure
Partial alcove bath
Love full framing of connection between tub and vanity
wood buy flat with frame
Dec. Love grey counter with dark wood b/c of low contrast. I see that elevated cabinets have beautiful lines, but recognize it might lose too much storage. (Jan 15 still love it)
Dec. Love the colors and simplicity and sleekness. Jan. Still love it.
This is a good wood tone for a dark quartz top ...
Wrapping counter material around interesting
**Jan 15 this color scheme is great (though too much red with tall cabinet). We both also very much like the lighter, large wall tile against darker floor tile A variation on this theme would be a darkish gray high gloss cabinet with lighter grey big tile floor, and striated wall tile.
Jan 4 Furniture guild high gloss. This is what got us started in this high gloss direction. Handle is nice.
Jan 15 Sunnyfields. Choice of high gloss finishes for Kountry Kraft custom cabinet,. The red is a kind of brick color. There is also a dark navy. There is also a light grey. But would have to look again to know whether it was a cool blue grey or more like a dove grey. We are as of today leaning toward warmer greys in light and darker combos for tiles. Sunnyfields also carries the high end Rutt cabinets, which can give you any color you want!. But would blow budget totally.
Jan 15 At Cox high igh gloss finish QCCI cabinets. Again, Nice that this is less in your face red than usual. See also pretty “tranquil grey in warm tones.
Same— the back with label.
**Jan 15 at chesapeake: foreground & middle 24 by 24 porcelain for floor. In Textured stone pattern, which we both really like. In back, Striated 8 by 36 for wall In porcelain. It looked really good with floor tile. We were thinking if cabinet on light side, go with darker floor? If cabinet on darker side go with lighter floor ...? One query: with bath and separate shower we will have a high proportion of wall in tile. Is all that striation too busy? When i first leaned toward striation i was thinking of just shower, not bath surround also.
Like cabinets and tile. I think the very subtle striation does work, now that I see it.
Dec: Love wall tile. Jam 15: still do.
**Jan 5 My friend’s large squares in porcelain stone look, matte. We both really like this for floor.— better than the rectangle since wall tile will be rectangle.
Sampling textures for floor,
12 by 24 and 24 by 24, so works for floor or wall. Just sampling difderent stome tupe texturesxjere,
Might work . if we wanted a dark floor, maybe tile too small.
For floor—less texture variation. than the others
Again texture for floor, but probably want square?
Another texture for floor
**Jan 15 I really like this type look for wall if we do not go for striation— and assuming high gloss Cabinet.
Love texture for big expanse of wall
More textures for wall.
Nice texture of a different kind.
Interesting texture
Jan 15 at first we really l liked this glossy, but no crackle ceramic tile at chesapeake by Sonoma stellar quickship .It is hand made and has subtle color variation. We liked metro grey and esp. bossy grey. Comes in 3 by 6 and 3 by 9. But it is very thick. And when i saw a room picture on website, a big wall of it had so much color variation and grout that it got pretty busy. Also it is 22$ a square foot.
Pop of color.
Dec .Is this polished concrete flooring or a look alike.. I like the look but would prefer something not so hard,
Dec Simple high gloss flooring has a certain appeal— but not with gloss cabinet,
Here is a niche under cabinets but this is deeper and higher than the one initially i saw—also should be as low down as possible while still allowing free use of sink,
