Take advantage of the space around the bed Have you considered how much space is actually around the bed itself? Pictured here is a bedroom where the entire end wall is utilized for storage. A perfect way to use the space in both depth, length and height, without the solution being too compact. On the contrary, the cabinets form a kind of frame around the bed, creating coziness and intimacy.
Keep the base neutral Whatever room you need to decorate, it is important to keep the base neutral when space is tight. By the base is meant walls, floors and ceilings. Try to subdue the basic elements of the room with neutral tones as it will make it easier to add small, selected color strokes. TIP! Use a single accent color to create depth in the room If you still like contrasts or a specific color, you can easily paint a single wall in a sharp accent color. This way, you can add personality to your bedroom, as well as the depth of the room is automatically enchanted. Alternatively, set up wallpaper with a dominant texture or create a decorative picture wall if you do not want to go with the paint bucket.
Choose multi-functional furniture Is your bedroom built to oblique dimensions? And is the space immediately too narrow for you to furnish with the usual features such as cabinets, dressers and other storage solutions? Then, a multifunctional piece of furniture will be your best friend when you start the decor. See, among other things, how to make use of the mini-bedroom with a custom-made bed that fits in the length and where there are drawers under the bed frame. Extend your bedroom In addition to using eye-catching colors, you can also use various types of shelves. Bedroom Small bedrooms are often a challenge to design, in terms of placing necessary main furniture pieces and still having space for our lamps, books and other accessories. This monochromatic guest bedroom was created by my team. We first had a photo taken of Cupid’s Span, the Claes Oldenburg sculpture on the Embarcadero, with the San Francisco Bay Bridge in the background. We then had the photo made into custom wallpaper scaled to fit the bed wall. From there we chose black-and-white patterned fabrics for the bedding to create a graphic impact, with just a touch of soft blue for contrast. Clear acrylic Z-tables act as nightstands so the mural isn’t blocked.
gee, I wonder why I like this?
Copy the familiar hotel look Most people enjoy spending an extended weekend in a luxurious and cozy hotel room, because there is room for relaxation and pampering. Why not conjure up the same vibe in your own bedroom? It does not require as much space as one might otherwise imagine. In fact, most hotel rooms also consist of only a few square meters. The trick is just that the space is utilized down to the minimum millimeter. Capture the famous atmosphere by keeping the walls light, choosing a padded headboard, a lot of pillows and a tight bed. If you have space, you may want to choose two small bedside tables that you set up with symmetry in mind.
