Maybe we should have had a contemporary facade like this :(

Don't mind the colours. Note range hood not in line with bottom of overhead cabinets

This layout might be similar to our design (swap ends). I like the walnut veneer (how does fit with woodern type floorboards?). I like the colours, could suit here.

The back wall of kitchen quite good, with the pantry area, but I feel usuable bench space for preparing, dishing up, cooking a few things at once etc is compromised by having the sink in the middle of the island bench. i don't want bits & pieces of bench - that's useless.

Maybe this kind of L-shape with window to back outdoor area, with more storage/butlers pantry in the other end we can't see?

I think this is good design-wise, though i don't need all those appliances next to fridge (make a pantry?). Looks like a butler zone behind. Servery window to back could work with our space?

Like butlers pantry for using with noisy appliances, but still want a pantry area for staples in main part of cooking zone

Quite like the little bar area/nook

Maybe a little extravagant, but like extra cupboard space & some bench area & drawers

Something like this could be useful to keep laptops off dining table which happens now

Bathrooms don't have to be fancy, just functional & easy to clean. Probably want more colour or wood here though

Love this, but don't think it suits our streetscape

I don't mind a more modern looking extension.

Like that there is a pantry near cooking zone. Not totall sold on sink in island bench but ok with it if there's enough bench space left. Like wood element in aethetics.

Like proximity of pool to house; like the angled roof out back. Would probably need more extended shade as back of house gets quite hot in summer. Outdoor ceiling fan may be good.
Maybe we should have had a contemporary facade like this :(
