love glass. It just elevates a room

Q

Photo

like the banquette corner, maybe a bit too busy, it's too easy that the open shelving will just end up mega cluttered over time. Like the table, Neptune?

Q

Photo

view all the way through the house. don't like the fridge being visually so dominant, but like how spacious the layout leaves the room

Q

Photo

like the wide opening, double doors, light feel

Q

Photo

welcoming feel, although island and table are next to each other, it still has a comfortable airy feel

Q

Photo

Like the light double doors, extra height

Q

Photo

good example of how even a wide opening can be wasted if the design is so cluttered, the kitchen seems to overhang into the walkway, all just a bit too much in spite of it having a comfy feel

Q

Photo

good example of something ticking the boxes in many ways and still not working well. like the wood used but the wooden flooring plus wooden cabinets clash and make it too rustic, the lights don't fit in style, the fridge is dominant and the table and upholstery again are all too heavy making it all look clunky and wrong

Q

Photo

good example of making a super slick kitchen not feel like a hospital by pairing it with natural materials like stone, wood and brick.

Q

Photo

interesting storage TV unit, maybe a bit too monochrome and imposing

Q

Photo

like the open space and feel and still cosy / comfortable

Q

Photo

doors - maybe too narrow

Q

Photo

good sized entryway

Q

Photo

entrance hall flowing into the living room - I like that it's a wide double door and the arch

Q

Photo

entrance hall flowing into the living room, I like that it's a wide double door

Q

Photo

interesting archway connecting / zoning the rooms

Q

Photo

like the arched windows, interesting floor texture and slick marble island.

Q

Photo

This is the exact TV unit we built in our old house. We still love it! even got the same wood at the bottom

Q

Photo

like the balanced view into the house. one half kitchen, other half arched doorway. interesting architectural contrast the arched / round inner doorway vs. the industrial crital doors

Q

Photo

this is the storage we built in our previous house (not the actual, but same style)

Q

Photo

random picture because I like the horse pieces, and the lantern (which we need outside our house!) and we both like the touches of colour (stair, sideboard, painting, horses, lantern)

Q

Photo

nice TV unit / storage

Q

Photo

as before, we exactly copied this very TV unit.

Q

Photo

like the view into the kitchen, a relatively slick kitchen on a traditional floor. Nice contrast, visually interesting

Q

Photo

like the view into the kitchen, a relatively slick kitchen on a traditional floor. Nice contrast, visually interesting

Q

Photo

interesting injection of colour and like plants

Q

Photo

love the idea of a fireplace

Q

Photo

like the cloakroom with double lamps left and right of the mirror and the gold accents giving a sense of old world glamour. I don't like the open storage though,

Q

Photo

like the hidden utility room

Q

Photo

hidden utility room and organisers

Q

Photo

slick hidden utilities

Q

Photo

although tiny, this is a visually pretty and interesting, cloakroom

Q

Photo

entrance to cloakroom / utility room next to staircase (something we are proposing)

Q

Photo

good additional hidden storage

Q

Photo

love the detail on these doors and that they are double width

Q

Photo

very nice width for the opening to the back of the house

Q

Photo

slick but not sure this gives a good corner utilisation?

Q

Photo

slide and modern kitchen, but like the added non-fussy and non-traditional injection of wood

Q

Photo

a very nice and modern wooden kitchen

Q

Photo

although very traditional, this is visually very rich without losing a contemporary feel

Q

Photo

slick kitchen on antique floor (lovely combination)

Q

Photo

contemporary wooden kitchen, slick flooring, because it's unfussy it gives a sense of order, space and calm but doesn't make it feel like a hospital

Q

Photo

slick, natural and unfussy kitchen (like combination of wood and marble and matt slick white)

Q

Photo

doorway to kitchen, traditional kitchen, very much what we had in our old house.

Q

Photo

like the comfort and ease of this visual flow with colours and textures although maybe a tiny tad too traditional with the recurring eggshell, I nevertheless like the space, feel and flow. unfussy and comfortable

Q

Photo

slick entry in case we want to have a pantry perpendicular to the cloakroom/utility room to the back of the extended kitchen wall

Q

Photo

we have lots of books. We don't have to have them as a feature in our living room but I like the little special touches, the lighting for the painting, the books, the lamp and the antique chair which break up the otherwise very slick white shelving

Q

Photo

again, great combo with textured flooring, slick invisible storage, good zoning and introduction of a fireplace which makes everything feel more cosy even if otherwise quite a minimalist look

Q

Photo

nice display, like the wood and the covered slick invisible storage options

Q

Photo

interesting zoning, like the empty space

Q

Photo

nice backdrop for dining

Q

Photo

good zoning, mix of colours and lighting and glass.

Q

Photo

too dark but a good example of a cloakroom with entrance next to stairs

Q

Photo

like the French feel - authentic flooring, nice panelling, ornate windows and dainty furniture still keep things light and pleasing

Q

Photo

nice French feel, good flooring, like the window panels used, the panelling on the walls and cornicing on the ceiling, very welcoming good feel

Q

Photo

storage / glass / textiles, good combo

Q

Photo

Interesting mix of colours, textures, old and new

Q

Photo

Visually interesting colours, mix of old and new

Q

Photo

storage

Q

Photo

possibly random, but I like wooden beams - possibly a natural way to break something up that might otherwise look too serious... ?

Q

Photo

another controversial snap idea... what if we don't have an island but a fabulous antique dining table? Sahal will likely reject this ;)

Q

Photo

possible added option for utility room
