Laura's Kitchen
I love this idea so I don’t have to stack all my pans in the bottom. It’s hard to get just the pan I need without having to take out half the drawer first
I love this wall color against the white cabinets
I love this idea of cabinet usage. It’s easily accessed, but also a defined space. The only question would be making sure it’s deep enough for all the cookie sheets.
I love this island - the size, and the way that there's lots of seating is appealing. J says that he doesn't like how seats are next to each other for eating, and perhaps this wouldn't be feasible in our space. But I like that there's 2 sides devoted to prep/storage, and 2 sides devoted to seating. It melds well for entertaining.
I like these bar chairs
I like the color of this countertop.
This butcher block overlay looks like a nicer version of the permanent cutting board that we keep on our island. It'd be nice to have it look nicer but still be useable.
I love the cabinets with the counter color.
This looks similar to a kitchen that my husband and I had in NH. We painted the cabinets white and had orange paint on the walls, which my husband was really fond of. This looks like a nicer version of it.
I like the color of this quartz, though I wonder if it would make the kitchen feel dark?
I like the idea of this little bookshelf/wine storage if we don't end up having bar seating. This could be great for storing wine plus frequently used cookbooks.
I like how there's not huge veins of color running through this quartz. It feels open and spacious.
I love the color and two tone cabinets. It still manages to feel neutral and light even without having white cabinets. I don't like the glass fronts of the cabinets.
I love the large island, the floor to ceiling cabinet space.
This looks like a place where I would sit and have coffee. It's light and airy, but has a feel like it's a working kitchen, not just for show.
This is utilitarian - easy to clean, and huge for fitting my large pots and pans in for cleaning.
I love the white against the wood flooring, and the extra storage space within the island.
I love the island with butcher block, and the barstool seating. I don't like how stark white it is.
I love the purple pop of color. I also loved how warm and cozy this kitchen feels. I like the triangle workspace - it would be easy to prep and cook here while entertaining.
I like the idea of the microwave being even with the bottom of the cabinets, and then giving the storage above extra space.
I like the light fixtures here. They add some interest without dominating the room.
I like this style of faucet, where you don't need to mess with two valves for hot and cold water. This feel looks simple and clean.
I like the island shape, the lighting, and the clean lines of the cabinets. I also like the color and tile shape of the backsplash (especially the way that they altered the shape for behind the stove, and then switched to subway tile for the rest of it, but all in the same color)
I like this storage idea, of the cabinet sitting flush on the counter. It could open to reveal the toaster/coffee maker, things I would love to hide in plain sight.
I like the way this backsplash adds color without being a focus of the room. The color is pretty, and the shape adds interest without being too funky.
This backsplash is so pretty. I like the non-traditional shape of the tile, and the slight variation of color.
This looks like a pantry that might fit into my space. I like the idea of some spice shelving being attached to the door, for easier access.
I like the overall look of this kitchen, though probably there's not enough upper cabinet storage.
Love this subway tile color
I like the light fixtures here. I also like the way that the blues give a calm, inviting feeling without screaming COLOR! I also like the idea of a neutral space to be able to put my own pops of color in or out.
I like the way the backsplash has a nice variation of color, but still neutral. The shine is really pretty too.
I love the island with eat in kitchen seating
I like the idea of two tone cabinets, though perhaps not so stark a difference as this. I also like the front of the cabinets here - they're simple and clean lined.
I like the under-mounted sink. This is so much easier to clean.
The cabinets here give a clean and classic look. I like that they're not see-through, because we have a lot of not pretty, utilitarian items. Not wild about the countertop, but I like the way that there's lots of light, and it adds warmth to the rest of the kitchen. The high faucet is nice too.
A pantry like this would be awesome. I love the idea of being able to see and reach all the way to the back easily.
I like the color of the island here. It's a nice neutral blue. Also, the lighting in this photo is appealing. It's bright but warm, and not obstructing the bar's line of vision.
I definitely would want a cabinet like this for our garbage and recycling.
I like the warmth and inviting feel of this nook. The hidden storage space is a bonus. The colors feel neutral but not boring, and I like how airy and light the space feels.
I love how the storage could be configured here, to have roll-out shelving for my casserole dishes or even just one for my larger, more awkward kitchen appliances.
I like how this island is a different color than the cabinets. It's a pop of color in an otherwise white room. It adds an inviting feel.
What a dream to have a double oven!! I love how they seem to fit right into the smaller kitchen, without overwhelming the space.
Perhaps this L shaped counter would work in my space to create a eat-in bar. This layout looks similar in size to my kitchen?
I love the idea of the kitchen table attached to the island.
