Slow combustion stove - something we would consider
Q

Doors in bedroom leading out onto back entertaining area? Big window for light, but not sure about privacy?

Built in shelves for cookbooks

Wrap around island - possible to separate spaces?

Wood. Marble backsplash.

kitchen nook for storage of large appliances

Good size kitchen

high ceilings with suspended lights and high windows

like the mix of textures and proportions

We like showers like this (single pane glass screen). We were not expecting to fit a bath in the ensuite. We like free standing baths, as long as there is space to clean around them. We like the full size window and plants, but would not want it in the shower cubicle.

We like the 60s vibe not sure about wooden bench top in the bathroom and would need storage somewhere.
Q
Photo
We like the large doors leading outside. Not fans of the flat roofline or exposed rafters.
Q
Photo
Quite like this, as long as it was not over done. Would need to be a single feature only.

This is on the way to the shoe and bag storage area we were thinking of. But would want more storage space, less on display, and this has too much wood. Would need to be adjacent to entrance.
Q
Photo
Like the full window, but probably would prefer the desk against the wall. Also not practical in terms of storage.
Q
Photo
This study nook is great - as long as there is more strorage off screen.
Q
Photo
Similar to previous, we like the corner window but not sure about this desk
Q
Photo
We like built in storage like this but there is too much here - too cluttered. Would prefer simpler lines.
Q

Love the angled ceilings and the triangular window.

Skylight is good for additional light if needed. Bench seating is something we hadn't thought of but that we are open to.
Q
Photo
Like the full glass wall/door, but don't like how the eave overhangs so far. Blocks light and view of the sky.
Q
Photo
This is nice - but with a little less glass. Some solid wall in amongst the full glass please.
Q
Photo
Not sure about this - nice in the right place.
Q
Photo
Too modern, not fans of the concrete ceiling and general aesthetic.
Q
Photo
We like this - as long as it was in the right place as it divides the space. We would look at a slow combustion stove rather than a fireplace.
Q
Photo
The corner of the indoor/outdoor space is nice, pulling back the doors in two directions seems to integrate the spaces more effectively.
Q
Photo
Ceiling feels heavy with the dark colour and the cluttered wood.
Q
Photo
This feels too expansive, we want something a little more practical and a fair bit more modest.
Q
Photo
The shape of this space is great. But the stonework is overused. And not sure about the exposed ceiling joists, we would prefer plasterboard over those and just leave the horizontal beam in sight.
Q
Photo
We envisaged the outdoor undercover dining area more substantial than this, and connected to the house.
Q
Photo
These beams are nice. Colour scheme not so much.
Q
Photo
We are not interested in an enclosable indoor/outdoor space. The interior courtyard is nice though.
Q

We like high, angled ceilings and high windows to let in light. Would probably not want that much glass though, need the walls to feel a bit more solid.
