cbriar's ideas
It's safe/ cosy and airy/open at the same time.
It's cosy, clean and comfortable without being cluttered
Cosy and elegant at the same time!
I am hoping to make a partially covered outdoor patio/courtyard, and convert a lean-to shed, so any ideas like this are helpful. This area has high rainfall so I' need a more pitched roof!
The radiator cover works well here
Lovely. Light, clean, classic.
Nice bedside lamp - would work in a bedroom or sitting room!
A nice informal feel to the dining area. I like the teal colour, with the wood table and flooring (with rug), and the handy shelf at a useful height. I wouldn't use the shelf for pictures, which can go onto the wall - it'd be great for keeping stuff that would otherwise make the table cluttered.
Clean, light and airy. I also like the book shelves on the walls, the wood flooring and the rug. My sort of room!
I like the window seat! Great light for reading.
That does look comfortable, a place to read, relax and look up at the view from time to time!
The combination of nice tiles (easy to keep clean) and a runner (warm and adding colour) works well.
A classic look.
Love the flooring!
I like the way it's open air but sheltered, very versatile!
I like the combination of a paved area for the outdoor dining furniture, and a gravelled section.
I love the corner sofa!
I do like the curved path. It could border a lawn, like in the picture, or a pond!
I like the single french door
I like the way the deck/ dining area projects out over the lawn, giving it an elevated and spacious feel.
I like the way the decked area is fenced off from the garden
Love it! So well planned.
Nicely planted, would provide shelter and a sense of seclusion.
Very cosy - feels like it would be used a lot!
Gorgeous!
I love the extravagant display of wildflowers, especially the big daisies and foxgloves.
Beautiful!
I like the cultivated wildness - though I'd probably use more striking wild flowers, such as big daisies and more of those poppies!
Ferns (lots of varieties), possibly even fern trees, NZ flax (variegated phormium Sundowner) and lilies on the shady side of the house. White hydrangeas do well in shade and look wonderful
I like the idea that there might be one or two days of the year - warm, dry and still - when there could be a dining outdoors experience! The furniture looks portable - good idea!
Great combination of planting and a place to sit and enjoy what's been planted!
I like the way this greenhouse can also be used as an outdoor picnic area!
Fabulous kitchen garden!
A lovely leafy arbour
I like the feel of being so close to nature here. The decking will need water blasting every spring, but otherwise it looks like it's easy care too.
Good idea!
Lovely, very relaxing.
I like the lush planting around the paved area, that creates a sense of peaceful seclusion
I love the winding path lined by the perennial planting and the greenhouse in the background.
Very lovely!
What a lovely enclosed outdoor space. I love the white decking. All very inviting.
Pretty and good ideas.
I like the simplicity - it works
Nicely furnished for a living/ dining room, practical and good use of space
It's good for humans and the bees!
