Beautiful mosaic floor, not slippery and peaceful. inviting. Good use of awkward space. Gallery bathrooms work!. Skylight solution over tub: prevents claustrophobic feeling of the dark corner. Now you are walking toward light. I probably would switch shower with tub, for practicality. I like more steamy enclosed showers. But that is climate related: in hotter wet areas people take showers to refresh, and they want to open them.
This is an absolutely pure genius in connecting outside rooms with inside bedroom and kitchenette. From the outdoor to indoor ratio, m guessing that this is a guesthouse. One thing I don't like: in southern climate, concrete pavement is off putting. Anything other: gravel with draught resistant plants, would be a better choice!
Kitchen with outdoor access!
Ok, I've got to ask: why??!
Beautiful use of outdoor access, outdoor light, and privacy.
At least there is a storage behind those mirrors.
Same old, same old :( Downstairs is too shaded, low clings d not help with interior light. Upstairs is too exposed. Why no having ONE deck that works?
Outdoor room with the cathedral ceiling makes sense. Indoor pseudo-cathedral does not.
Awesome! The window is next to staircase, where you can wash it, use it, open it! Light fixture is on pedant, which makes it reachable!
Beautiful!
Bed: nightmare for shins. Windows: pure bliss. Ceiling: perfection!
Staircase: closed and open steps, as light demands. I am not a fan of double height ceiling and Windows, but here at least there is a landing next to Window for ladder to be placed.
Good ceiling
So in order to relax... You take a stairs to... The office? This space would be better served by upstairs library with ladder
How to work with office furniture.
Color!!!
Office heaven
Great view. Wrong surface: it's not comfortable to keep elbows on glass. No enclosure: all notice from below is heard. Difficult to call on the phone.
Unbreathe- able- fish- bowl :(
Good comfort in covering of large windows
Good office furniture
Much better
Not fond of Murphy beds. Couch would do better job. Books should be real= create real storage. Stairs need rail. Or they are of limited use, therefore design is not universal. It does not translate to long term use.
Darker...because it's lighter. Higher ceiling give more light in small places. Darker wood removes glare and allow for better focus.
Beautiful use of kitchen cabinetry. I don't do "nooks"
There is something deeply right about this. Shelves are utilitarian and very beautiful at the same time.
Awesome office, appears more spacious then it should
My room
Great office= landing. Destination landing. Office/ leaving/ multipurpose room.
Office: no. Staircase: yes
Windows!!!
Kitchen cabinetry used in the office
I'm starting to see the appeal of murphys
We need shed
Not good for me. I feel too claustrophobic in narrow spaces.
White-to-black transition. Leisure-to-work transition. Family-to-private conversation transition. Everybody has their own thing: transition.
Great floor. Very good table
Great door toward beautiful outdoors
Brilliant library. I would like the "edges " to be a reverse library in adjacent room.
Omg. This is extravagant...in a good way.
Brilliant, seamless, thought through, 100% useful, sensibly oriented. Highest ceiling outside, as intended. Awesome.
Confused, overarching, useless, undisciplined, designed by committee, show.
Great use of " common space and large room" in limited area. Raised and glazed roof: very nice. It surely could us She heated floors in winter.
Absolutely great use of cabinetry for storage. Finally: modern done sensibly.
Great flow. Bathrooms work well as galleries
Patio, but preferably in cathedral shape
Good old/modern connection.
