I think, for the purpose of this inquiry, TV height is critical in order to reduce things such as glare or neck strain and such. But as far as distance away from the TV, I think it is a matter of personal preference. If your furniture is too far from TV, get a bigger TV. If it is too close, you might want a smaller one. But as we all know, no one would get a smaller TV.

i have 65 inch TV. And my viewing distance is 14 feet that is 168 inch.

can someone tell me what should be the height of bottom edge TV ?

How does this rule change when watching TV whilst lying in a recliner chair, your head is at an angle and your eyes point point upwards.
