Carmen is brilliant! From our first meeting she understood what I was looking to achieve for our living room and office. The rooms are beyond what I'd expected. I highly recommend Carmen as her professionalism, inspiration and attention to details is second to none. Carmen always kept me updated on her choices and I was constantly aware of how we were going with the budget - which was very important to me. Carmen met the deadline spot on. This was a daunting task for me and working with Carmen made it so easy. I would high recommend Carmen for your future project. I can't wait to do more rooms of our home with her!

I was delighted to have Carmen Darwin from Evolution House visit our home recently. Carmen's eye for detail and her natural flare for style and space were fabulous. Throughout her visit Carmen offered practical solutions to enhance our new home that ranged from furniture placement to floor covering recommendations and artwork suggestions. I would highly recommend Carmen as a talented professional who has much to offer in the areas of home design and styling.

I met with Carmen for the 2.5hr advice package. We were well into planning the renovation of our old Queenslander, and were seeking Carmen's input to tweak the layout of plans we had done up and to ensure that the finishes we chose would all tie together. I was very pleased with Carmen's preparedness and her ability to take in a lot of information from plans, pictures and my descriptions to produce some fantastic tweaks that will improve the layout and functionality of our house. I also think some of her suggestions will save us some money which is always a good thing. As an owner builder I had put off seeking a designer's input due to what I thought would be a cost I didn't need, however, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carmen's services to anyone who needs a second opinion or someone to challenge your thinking, as she has really added value to our project.

We were floundering and lacking ideas with many aspects of our renovation until we engaged Carmen who set about working closely with us, putting forward a number and variety of design suggestions. She nurtured rather than directed throughout and lead us along the journey. A big thank you, Carmen, for all your help.

Carmen is a true professional. We had plans drawn for our renovation. Thankfully Carmen gave us a second opinion. Not only did the plans suit our families lifestyle better the costs were reduced significantly due to Carmen's building and design knowledge.

Carmen was great from the start. When she came to our home we knew exactly what to expect. She provided me when wonderful hints and tips that where in expensive and ideas on ways to incorporate our existing furniture. Carmen was professional, friendly, extremely helpful and affordable. We jump at the opportunity to tell our friends and family about Carmen and recommend her to anyone who wants assistance with styling their home, renovating to rent or styling and renovating to sell. Next home we purchase we will be calling Carmen as soon as we move in, before we spend a dollar on anything.

Carmen has the perfect combination of creativity, practical advice and flair. Carmen recently helped us design wardrobes for our 1930s home – her suggestions and designs were fantastic she really helped us maximise the use of space and avoid making decisions which restricted bedroom layout options. I highly recommend Carmen for design and decorating advice large or small.

I really wanted to do the project justice due to your fine home and to maintain the integrity of the original architecture. Now that we have that one completed I can wait to get some final pictures of the new garden courtyard that I designed now that it's almost complete. Thanks for being such a wonderful client who always listens and wants to learn from my ideas. As a designer that delights me.
