We built with our family home through Trentwood 12 months ago. Going into the building process we were kind of apprehensive, we had heard so many ‘never again’ stories floating around about building and what a tiresome process it can be. What we experienced with Trentwood Homes couldn’t have been more the opposite. From the onset, Trentwood Homes exceeded our expectations. Jarrod's knowledge, patience and assistance in the planning was awesome. Darko’s kind and honest nature was a pleasure and every tradesperson we encountered were awesome. The Site Manager is perfect for the role, a real people person and when dealing with him you never feel like anything is a hassle. All this being said, we wanted a quality house, and that is exactly what we got. The quality of the tradesmen and end result couldn’t have been better. The process was amazing and seeing our vision and dreams come to life was just awesome. I couldn’t recommend Trentwood Homes more highly, we thank them for building our perfect family home.

After receiving recommendations about Trentwood from industry associates we aprroached them about building our house to a design we had already put together. From our very fisrt interactions with Darko and Jarrod we could not have asked for a more professional, honest and friendly experience. They have made the first experience of building our home so easy and have kept us informed throughout the entire process. Advice has been tailored to our needs and with our best interests at heart. The subcontractors used by Trentwood have provided the utmost professionalism and care which is an obvious sign of respect for Darko. The finish is beautiful and more than we could have hoped for. In 2016 we built our dream home with Trentwood. From the moment we met Darko, Maria & Jarrod we knew we wouldn't be building with anyone else. We first went in with nothing but a picture in mind of building a new home with characteristics of an old house along with using big exposed timber beams we had sourced from the old Melbourne wharf. The team were all for it and soon turned our dream into reality. Jarrod designed our home from scratch taking great attention to detail of our lifestyle, block & overall concept we had in mind. Working with the recycled timber beams (weighing over 500 kilos) was a challenge. Every piece of timber differed in dimension, straightness and degree of twist, not to mention being peppered with rusty fastening. Chainsaws, chisels, sweat, time and dedication were used to create the ultimate finish but nothing was to hard or couldn't be done. We have a design where the old meets new and we now have a home that we are extremely proud of, the level of detail throughout is second to none, each and every room has been finished with the highest detail and the outcome has completely exceeded our expectations. We recommend everyone looking to build / renovate to the team at Trentwood and would have no hesitation to build with them again as they are true professionals with the highest standards that made us feel part of the journey through out the entire build. Our experience could not be bettered & we thank you for creating such a beautiful home for us, our vision has come to life and we cannot commend the work enough and we will be forever thankful xx

After having quiet a disappointing experience building our first house we were quiet hesitant to build again, that is until we sat down and talked with Trentwood. We felt that comfortable and listened to that we felt there was no need to go anywhere else for a second quote. The whole process was made so easy and enjoyable for us which was such a bonus as we were due to have our second baby close to the finish date of the build (we moved in and a week later she arrived) it was a great feeling bringing bub home to our beautiful new house to begin life as a family of four. I recommend Trentwood homes to everyone who may be thinking of either building or renovating because honestly, seems our experience was so amazing it makes me want to build with them again and again.

Being first home buyers/builders we really wanted to make sure we chose one, a quality builder to build our dream home and two one we could trust. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to choose Trentwood. We have friends who have built with them and all reviews are glowing, so it really was a no brainer in the end. Jarrod was amazing with our initial designs and planning, again having never done it before we put a lot of faith in his knowledge and experience, his advice and guidance meant we really did end up with our dream home. Nothing was ever too hard, we changed plans and additions numerous times during this process but it was never a problem, they just wanted us to get the best home for our needs. We really felt like our build was important to them and an emphasis on quality ahead of anything else was definitely felt. During the building process Darko was great to deal with, we were given a key from day 1 so we could check out the progress whenever we liked. We were always kept in the loop and made plenty of changes along the way as the home came to life, they were more than accomodating to any ideas we had. They were excited when we wanted to a few different things that you wouldn't get in a standard build and felt as though they were proud to put their name to it. There is no doubt the highest quality trades were used and even they were easy to deal with and always quite helpful when we would see them on site. The other important thing that we were really impressed with was the price, building a custom built, quality home with luxury features, you expect to pay for it, but the price was quite reasonable and are very satisfied with what we have got for our money. Overall my partner and I feel extremely lucky to have had such a great family builder to guide us through our first building experience. Trentwood Homes created our first home, planned to perfection from the list of inclusions we provided. It was no trouble for Jarrod to adjust the house plan to suit our requirements and most importantly budget. The ability to have the custom plan provided in house was a big draw card for us. The professionalism and customer service provided during the build was outstanding. Variations to the build were accepted and completed without fuss. The work quality, courtesy of all trades and wealth of knowledge displayed by Trentwood Homes was exceptional. We look forward to a continued relationship with Darko and his team as we journey through the first months in our new home. Nothing to complain about, just an awesome experience!

When we first approached the Trentwood Homes team we had a vision for what we wanted the home to look like which included the functional requirements to support fully integrated wheelchair accessibility. Trentwood had the expertise to formulate the construction of the project and create the chemistry between all the ideas. They had the ability to integrate accessibility needs with modern design features. Together we spent 6 months collaborating and exploring a variety of products and concepts that aligned with our dream. Plans were submitted to council and construction commenced immediately after approval. The team were well co ordinated with a high level of consultation, communication and transparency from the owner Mr Gorupic. The team were flexible, responsive and inclusive and held regular on site meetings to keep us fully informed of the progress. The workmanship was exemplary and exceeded all expectations. All timelines were met and throughout the construction the site was kept secure and clean. Any variations we proposed throughout the build were costed, communicated and implemented seamlessly. Our home was completed 2 weeks prior to the expected completion date. The final process which involved bank approval and the handover was uncomplicated and fully supported by the Trentwood team. After moving in to our home Trentwood remains fully engaged to ensure we are completely satisfied with the quality of the home. We are now 9 months into living in our home and it has been the best decision we have ever made. Thank you Trentwood Homes for making this experience so positive and enjoyable.

We have built with a few different builders, our last house with Trentwood who were by far the best! We had our own custom design in mind and Jarrod was super helpful in helping us adjust our plan so we got everything we wanted but still within our budget. Nothing was a hassle and quality was on point! Would definitely build with them again!

I’m no expert designer, but I had thoughts of a floor plan, hand drawn by me, that I needed someone with skill to bring to life and within my very tight budget. I had been to a few builders and Trentwood where the only ones to take my plan and draw it up; without first putting their changes to it. They helped me get it right, within the world of building, rather than the world of ‘everything is possible, if you’ve got the budget to do it' (lol). Ask me to make a decision as a CEO in health and I'm on it, but all the building choices to make - wow!! They were very patient and supportive and they knew their business inside and out. They had an amazing consultant who helped me make all those choices, and I cannot thank them enough that we got there! Whilst our house is still a work in progress, waiting to build the balcony and garage as add on's (…. when the next money arrives); my house, as I stand in my living room and look at the lake, is beautiful. The floor plan with their expert advice has worked out great. They finished the house on time, my budget got the house with the floor plan I love and they are such a pleasure to deal with. I have to give 5 stars as from start to finish they advised, supported and definitely listened to my ever growing questions and queries (and changes!) when I am still working out what it looks like. They knew, they had showed me all the drawings, but I needed to see it visually from a plan to an actual building! Tradie son said ‘mum they will have it sorted’ and he was right. All I can say is trust them, they will do it well from start to finish. They are always ready to listen, keep you updated and you’ll be thankful you chose them. I do think Darko, Jarrod and Tim may have a few more grey hairs though as they tried to meet my needs, but they did meet them, and I thank them sincerely.

Probably the best review you can give is to say that we would have no hesitation recommneding Trentwood Homes to family or friends who were thinking of building. The team at Trentwood is a great mix of youthful enthusiasm in Jarrod the designer and knowledgable experience in Darko the building/project manager backed up by a great team of "tried and true tradies" who have worked for or with Darko for years and have all been terrific to deal with. We were also pleased with the fact that Trentwood are happy to be flexible and leave some things to decide on site when the building takes shape. Everyone has been very patient (including Maria in accounts) and understanding of first-time building clients and although we are only part way through the build we are happy with the results so far.

They were very easy to deal with, showed amazing patience, flexibility and keen to take on a boutique project. We were always dealing with the proprietor (not a site foreman). Allowed unrestricted access to the site which gave us the opportunity to monitor the progress and make any necessary adjustments along the way. We always felt this house was ours from day 1 and they had our best interests at heart and were absolutely committed to delivering the home we dreamed of into becoming a reality. We love our home that emerged from a drawing into a 3D award winning House of the Year.
