About Us

Urban Chic is a Professional Property Styling (sometimes called 'home staging') company located in Kogarah, Sydney. Formerly a successful real estate agent, our creative director - Juliana Gowen - has over 25 years experience in real estate sales and marketing. While still working as an agent, Juliana was often asked by her vendors what they could do to make their home more appealing to prospective buyers. in early 2001, Urban Chic Property Styling was born. Juliana now directs the professional team of expert stylists at Urban Chic to create stunning, tailored solutions for all of our valued clients.

My first contact with Urban Chic was with Kristy. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She made the whole process easy. Her furniture placement and styling was excellent. This definitely contributed to a high price when selling our home. The boys Nathan and Coby were unreal. Very fast and efficient packing and unpacking the furniture. Fabulous, Collaborative Team. Best in the business! The whole experience was seamless. From start to finish, the team took ownership of the project. Both Juliana and Cathy are consummate professionals, who’s styling helped achieve a tangible premium with respect to sale price. For those of you who are considering whether the exercise presents value for money, it’s an emphatic yes from both my husband and I. We were the owners of a fabulous high-end property in Leura, which was transformed into a Vogue photo shoot. We will definitely re-engage the services of Urban Chic in the future. I hired UrbanChic to style my townhouse for sale in Bardwell valley. Thanks to the superb styling and presentation we had over 100 groups through prior to auction. I hired urban chic to style my apartment in campsie. Juliana was very experienced and knowledgeable and that instantly gave me comfort that her team will do a great job and deliver what I had in mind. I also wanted the job done urgently and Juliana was able to accommodate easily. The result was amazing, even the agent who was previously skeptical liked what she saw. Juliana and her team did an exceptional job of styling my property for sale. The whole process was easy and well thought out with good guidance on proposed styling at every step along the way.
