Sharon my response is one of horror and hysterical laughter. Even with the glitter? I know what goes around comes around, but really??

Popcorn ceilings, when painted freshly white, almost disappear. The best thing about them is they absorb sound and keep the house from echoing. Our first home had was a new build with high, smooth ceilings. Even with all the fabric furniture and curtains, it echoed and drove me nuts! Our next homes were built in the 50s and 70s with popcorn ceilings. So much quieter. Give me an older home any day.

I hate homes with no overhead lighting. Although realtors love to say it's inexpensive to do, that's not true. It's quite costly to me especially when almost the entire house requires them.
