Having a stained-glass window is a sure-fire way to add a touch of romance to any room. Stained glass as a medium has a rich history, spanning thousands of years and traditionally being used in churches, mosques and other significant buildings, often depicting narratives. These beautiful windows are now used in modern homes to add character and a focal point to a room, as well as bringing in colour and light. Stained-glass windows may be abstract or figurative works of art, or may simply feature colourful individual panels. Either way, they make a statement that is gentle and striking, inviting us to look a little closer.

Mine is a modern home, one year old and the windows are 40 years old. Go for it. I'm sure you could use them anywhere you imagine, either internally as part of room divider, or at the entrance. They look gorgeous.
Thanks for your encouragement Marguerite! ps Love your stained glass hats
Thanks. When I bought them I thought they had come from Ballentynes Department Store, possibly the millenary department, so was very surprised when I took them for repair and the owner recognized the signature and knew their history. It was quite exciting. Yours look very Art Deco. I have a contempory style house with all Retro furnishings, I call it Retro- fusion. Make your own fusion style.
