These are all really great tips! People often get so caught up thinking about the logistics of a renovation, that by the time they need that make-shift kitchen set up, they're on their last nerve!

Our clients generally don't need to think about the appliance delivery schedule and procurement of items (we do all that for them!) but we always make sure we have a very realistic conversation with them at the start of the procurement phase, about ways they can minimise disruption to their lives and help keep a good pace on the renovations.

We like to allow them to focus on making key decisions around the design, and being sure that they're excited about the end result! Nothing gets you through the impracticalities of a home renovation, better than a stunning visual and a positive outlook! Half of the job is keeping the client in that positive head space!

Home renovations are such a worthwhile journey!

We are in the middle of a kitchen renovation, and I am thankful for the following: TV trays, a dishpan to hold a dish drainer so you can move it anywhere, outdoor tablecloths to make any surface a counter, and an empty dresser and bookshelf to hold dishes and food. And you can use a microwave to scramble eggs, who knew!
