I seem to remember reading that sliding doors are preferable over folding doors as there are less working parts. Someone may be able to offer more insights.

For the glass sliding doors, apart from fly screens, are there any other designs that would stop kids from running from the backyard straight into them (whilst still looking good)?

Also I note that the stacking doors - don't seem to have tracks down the bottom to clean. What are their disadvantages? Are they less secure or less durable?
