Houzz Call: Show Us Your Christmas House
How do you deck out your house for an Australian Christmas? Whatever your style is, we'd love to see it

To celebrate Houzz Australia’s first festive season on our sunny shores, we’d like to show the world how a sunny Christmas is really done. Add your seasonal snaps to the Comments and show us how you’ll be celebrating Christmas in our warmer climate. We may not have snow – or spend our Christmas day wrapped in a woolly reindeer jumper – but from the festive homes you’re already sharing on the site, boy do we have style.
Be inspired by the homes below and add your festive photos to the Comments – your home may be featured in our upcoming Christmas editorial.

STEP 1: TAKE SOME SNAPS OF YOUR CHRISTMAS HOME
We’d love to see the ways in which you get your home ready for the festivities, from homespun decorations to year-on-year traditions. Take high-resolution photos that show off your style.

How will you be greeting guests (and Santa) this season? He’s unlikely to miss the stockings that hang proudly in this NSW farmhouse entry.
Are you lucky enough to have an outdoor space that you can entertain al fresco this Christmas? If so, we’d love to see your table.

How about sending in a shot of your Christmas mantel? Paula from Sweet William has adorned hers with vintage finds and oversized baubles. Christmas cards swing on a garland above, attached by pegs.
Or your Christmas tree?
And don’t forget your festive furballs!
STEP 2: ADD YOUR PHOTOS TO THE COMMENTS AND TELL US ABOUT THEM
Add your photos to the Comments and include some information about the shot. Tell us where it is in your home and how you created the look. Perhaps there’s a story behind the photo? If so, we’d love to hear it.
We’re looking for crisp, well-lit, high-resolution photos of homes with fresh and inspiring design ideas.

And if you want your home to be considered for an upcoming festive “My Houzz” tour, send an email to aueditor@houzz.com including three photos and a description of your home.
Tell us who lives in your house, the location, the size, what sets your home apart from the rest, what you love most about your house, your inspiration, your design team (if you had one), design dilemmas or issues you had to overcome, and any other interesting details you’d like to share.
We look forward to hearing from you!

Did you make that red floral wreath? Wow!
Yes, I did make the Christmas bush wreath for a friends door. I love the black door against the red bush. Thanks for your comments.
