I use Norwex products as well as washable dishcloths and tea towels. The dish cloths are impregnated with very fine silver threads that help prevent odours. I have had mine for years (I have 8) wash them without fabric softener and put them through the dryer. The tea towels are also amazing particularly when drying glass as they leave no streaks and sparkling. I ensure the cloths are hung not folded in a ventilated area to dry.

I always carry out the same procedure as my Gran did....boil my dish cloths once a week, with a dash of soap powder. Keep a rolling boil for 7-10 minutes, rinse and dry on the outside line. Part of my cleaning of the kitchen routine. (I don't use a sponge..just a dish-cloth).
