Is a cosy corner, blush curtains bring a whimsical touch. Alongside quirky artwork and lighting, this Alice in Wonderland aesthetic creates the perfect nook to enjoy an intimate pot of tea.
Sophisticated grey
Cool, dark spaces can benefit from the softness of blush – a simple blanket or pillow cover is all that’s needed to make a monochromatic colour scheme warm and welcoming without losing a decidedly grown-up feel.

Blush accents can introduce softness to a room featuring lots of hard materials such as marble, granite and metals. Here, a couch and ottoman lend a gentle touch to a cool, minimal space.
Sitting pretty
Eclectic and unexpected, a pink dining room setting will bring a smile to your face at every meal. Kitsch, retro and just plain fun, it is sure to take centre stage so the rest of the room is best kept low key.

Copper accents
Industrial copper and blush are a match made in home heaven. Set against an all-white background, the two – as seen with these pendant lights and a baby-pink cushion and stool combo – make for a glamorous and playful look.

The warm tones of rose pink and copper really complement each other. Here, blush towels are perfectly balanced with copper tapware and finishes. Sleek, glossy subway tiles complete this chic, contemporary look.
Soft and sweet textiles
As the universal colour of love, pink will bring an element of romance to your bedroom decor. A blush pillow or two sitting atop a bed of fluffy, white linen will be a dreamy addition.

Soft blush is a soothing colour to introduce into a child’s room. Add some tissue paper pompoms grouped closely in white and soft pastels reminiscent of fluffy clouds – they’re sure to spark your child’s imagination and inspire sweet dreams.
Lush and blush
Some of the most beautiful plants have pale pink blooms – proteas, peonies and camellias to name a few – so there’s no doubt the hue makes a dream coupling with greenery. Think ivy, a string of pearls or another hanging variety for a relaxed, bohemian vibe.

When it comes to indoor plants, the more the merrier. They like company so bring in a few, placing them against a blush background where they’ll really pop.
Mix up textures
Think beyond paint and have fun using this pretty shade in interesting materials throughout your home. A velvet chesterfield certainly makes a talking point, while silk drapes keep this living room light and airy.

A chunky knit makes this cushion a focus, adding a cosy and playful vibe in the bedroom. Look for textiles in natural fibres such as wool and linen, which are more breathable and feel better on your skin than synthetics.

Bathroom blush
This delicate hue is the perfect colour to complement a relaxing soak in the tub. Associated with being tender and intuitive, it has a harmonising effect when used in its softest form.

Pink marble and tiles create a luxe-looking bathroom fit for pampering. While it is more of a commitment than a lick of paint, lovers of this hue might find that some stoneware makes a sweet addition to the home year-round.
A whisper of blush
The most subtle wash of baby-soft colour is a foolproof way to introduce pink to your home. With just enough tint to make a room look rosy, a barely-there shade of blush appears fresh and chic.

Lovely. Very subtle just as I like it.
Pink.........the color that the designers said we should be using. A touch here an there might be fine, like the pillows strategically placed, but a whole room painted pink and expensive drapery in pink, not so sure about this design choice that could be simply a fad that you are stuck with.
l Love. I started my apartment decorating with a velvet shell-back mauve pink sofa. When I purchased my home I again went for pink. I choose a white porcelain floor tile with light pink veining and mauve grout for the entry way and family room floors. My living room and dining room are painted a mauve pink color and the entry way, family room, kitchen, game room, and wash room are all painted a pale pink (Kings Tavern Pink).
