NZ Pros: How to Use the Houzz Pro Mood Boards & 3D Floor Planner
Step-by-step directions on how to use these Houzz Pro tools and make your paint selection easier with Resene

3D Floor Planner
Step 1
To access the 3D Floor Planner, open up the navigation bar of Houzz Pro and select ‘3D Floor Plans’.
To create a new floor plan, click on ‘Add a Floor Plan’ – this will give you a basic rectangular room that you can start customising.

Resize the dimensions of your room by clicking on a wall.

Once you’ve resized your room, you can also choose to create more walls by clicking on the ‘Draw Walls’ Pen in the top left-hand corner.

Add in your windows and doors and furnish your room with a selection of products.
Step 4
Click on ‘Dollhouse’ to get a 3D view of your floor plan. Select a wall to start applying paint.

Click ‘Select Paint Colour’ to open a selection of paint colours from Resene.

To view more details on the selected paint colour, click on ‘Visit Resene’, which will take you through to the Resene website.

Mood Board
Step 1
To access the Mood Boards, open up the navigation bar and select ‘Mood Boards’. Click on ‘Add a Mood Board’ to start.

Click on the paint icon on the top left-hand corner. This will open up a selection of Resene colour swatches that you can add to your Mood Board.

Step 3
After selecting a colour, this will appear as a swatch on the Mood Board with the reference of the colour used.
You can opt to change the colour of the swatch by selecting the swatch and clicking on the colour box on the toolbar.

Step 4
Click on info – view to learn more about the Resene paint being featured.
