Hi Dcollett40

I renovated an 1950 yellow brick veneer house by popping out three windows to extend bays to the eave. It was a house on the bellarine peninsula in Victoria. I dont have photos but it is advertised for rental with photos. One of the bay windows is shown to the front of the house. It is based on extended to the eave line only with minimal work. Here is the link.

I love the idea of pop-outs. It's a smart way to add that extra room. It can be particularly useful in small houses. I was thinking of doing some renovations in my home, and extending a room, so thanks everyone for these great comments.

I also ran into an interesting article on how to plan home additions.
