What a lot of work. Well done. While the minimalist look can be serene, this one looks off balance with the line of sight drawing the eye downward throughout the home. The kitchen is bottom heavy with little to counterbalance the cabinets. It's a work in progress so hopefully in time a balance will be achieved. The photos should help the decorator/owner see what's needed. I applaud your energy and enthusiasm.

I have been here on Houzz for years. I have looked at thousands of photos. THIS is the house I want to live in. How wonderful for you to live in a house you love. Your bravery in buying a house unseen has been rewarded.

Wonderful renovation, especially because done on a budget! So nice to see a beautiful home that is also affordable. I’ve been a bit disappointed a few times on Houzz tracking down items I’ve seen only to discover the gorgeous lamp I coveted was thousands of dollars... This house is lovely and serene - and perhaps also a little bare but I imagine that art will be added over time. I’m about to create a similar kitchen with ikea Veddinge cabinets and am inspired by how well this kitchen turned out. Also, the over exposure in the photos probably made this home feel a little more spartan than it would otherwise... Congrats on creating a place of calm and beauty!
