I would love more Australian builds to incorporate the internal courtyard. Especially since the trend to build right up to the boundaries significantly reduces garden space.

We have just moved into a new home built by my husband which ticks every box. Sensationally calm, inspiring and energising. Couldn't agree more with the wellness elements of living.

I agree with decorator68 re internal courtyards especially due to our climate
We used to travel to Ho Chi Minh regularly for business and the old area of the city all has internal courtyards a welcome respite from the noise and dirt of the city and 10 degrees cooler !
