Hi Anupama Rao, paint the wall behind the couch ONLY in a dark grey or a colour which is in the painting, (paint a sample, say a large cardboard packing box opened up, let it dry and then rest your current artwork on it on the floor or outside and you will see if the colour works or not) drop the height of the painting and buy different cushions, some in a floral which match the colours in the painting perfectly with some plain accent coloured ones also, no white and no striped cushions, OR start from scratch and get a different piece of art, let your colours and fabric choices be directed by the colours in the artwork OR get a beautiful stick on mural and do the wall behing the couch only - good luck

Anupama Rao I think the problem is that you have a grey couch with cream coloured walls and then a multicoloured image behind. Too many colours and nothing binding them all together. You need to paint the walls to match the couch ie a soft grey, or conversely buy a couch that matches the walls. You could tie it altogether with cushions that pick out a colour from the artwork, say the blues and dark pink. Just my thoughts for what they're worth!
