As the powder room can be seen almost immediately upon entering the house, from the marble entry foyer, it was designed to be beautiful enough to always be on view and to set the tone for the overall understated luxury of the home. Our approach was to hide all functional aspects of the bathroom (shower, WC, linen press) so that the glamorous vanity became the focus. By rearranging the floorplan to achieve this, we wanted the clients to feel cocooned by luxury in this space. The Ciotola basin is a favourite - its simple clean lines and incredible fineness exude simple luxury. It provides a quietness amongst the textures of the stunning Arabescato marble and saltwood veneer of the vanity, and carrara marble penny rounds on the walls. The Articolo Fizi Ball pendant light is very special, being handcrafted (each piece is individual), bringing a modern luxury to the space.
