Blackburn, Master Bedroom with pendant lights
Contemporary Bedroom, Melbourne
The Master Bedroom in this house is very large and has a generous WIR and Ensuite off to one side. To break up the long wall I installed a subtle wallpaper along the opposite side. The darker timber furniture grounds the pieces on the mocha coloured wool carpet and offers a lead-in to the warmer tones of the soft furnishings. The addition of glamorous glass black pendants instead of table lamps keep the bedside tables free for the display of personal items. A footstool at the end of a bed is a very practical addition and helps balance out the proportions of this rather large room.
