Here’s a recent bathroom project we helped design and supply for a client which we’ve fallen in love with. Three bathrooms in a beautiful family home in Battersea, London, our design consultant took little time in delivering bathroom designs which cater to the whole family. With a kid’s bathroom, master ensuite and shower room part of the project, the master ensuite clearly displays a combination of elegance, space, and practicality. The stunning Clearwater freestanding bathtub sits directly opposite the entrance to this bathroom, with a wonderful walk-in shower to it’s left with the luxurious European Tiles Classic Statuario tiles creating a standout feature wall. With wall hung features such as the StoneKAST Uni WC and Faeber basin and units adding practicality and maximising floor space in this room, the master ensuite is the standout room in this project. The kid’s bathroom has the practicality of a bath shower combination with the Bette Ocean inset bathtub incorporating a bath panel and shower fixtures, whilst the soft hue of the Apavisa Encaustic 2.0 floor tiles along with the white fixtures in this room add to the overall subtleness of this bathroom. Dans cet appartement, les salles de bain ont été pensées comme des pièces à part entière. Elles ne sont pas uniquement fonctionnelles mais réellement décoratives, faisant partie de l’identité du lieu. Nous avons repris ici les détails Art déco de la pièce à vivre : les moulures sur les plinthes, les encadrements d’ouvertures (cette fois réalisées en marbre) et les corniches en plafond. Le marbre et le bronze, très présents dans cette salle de bain, apportent raffinement et un caractère « luxueux » assez marqué. La vasque, en marbre Emperador, est mise en valeur grâce à une conception symétrique des aménagements attenants et une couleur plus prononcée. Tous les éléments métalliques de la pièce ont été choisis en bronze pour une parfaite harmonie d'ensemble : appareillages Meljac, robinetterie Dornbracht, sèche-serviette, bâton de maréchal de la porte, encadrement de miroir…

It was a fun remodel. We started with a blank canvas and went through several designs until the homeowner decided. We all agreed, it was the perfect design. We removed the old shower and gave the owner a spa-like seating area. We installed a Steamer in the shower, with a marble slab bench seat. We installed a Newport shower valve with a handheld sprayer. Four small LED lights surrounding a 24" Rain-Shower in the ceiling. We installed two top-mounted sink-bowls, with wall-mounted faucets.

Marble tiles and subtle green hues make a great impression and tie with the cool calming colors used on the first floor. Wall niches, hotel rack, and medicine cabinet help to maximize storage for guests without overcrowding the room. Wainscoting and decorative trim were paired with modern fixtures to marry traditional charm with contemporary feel.
