We recently completed a stunning full-house renovation on the Gold Coast, where the client’s vision was to create a light-filled coastal haven that seamlessly connects the indoors with the outdoors.
The design centres around a soft, relaxed coastal aesthetic, achieved through a harmonious mix of finishes. Crisp 2pac cabinetry brings a timeless elegance, while Polytec Woodmatt adds warmth and natural texture. To complete the look, Caesarstone benchtops were selected for their durability and refined finish, tying the palette together with a touch of understated luxury.
The result is a home that feels calm, open, and welcoming — the perfect balance of modern functionality and coastal charm.

Coburg Frieze is a purified design that questions what’s really needed.
The interwar property was transformed into a long-term family home that celebrates lifestyle and connection to the owners’ much-loved garden. Prioritising quality over quantity, the crafted extension adds just 25sqm of meticulously considered space to our clients’ home, honouring Dieter Rams’ enduring philosophy of “less, but better”.
We reprogrammed the original floorplan to marry each room with its best functional match – allowing an enhanced flow of the home, while liberating budget for the extension’s shared spaces. Though modestly proportioned, the new communal areas are smoothly functional, rich in materiality, and tailored to our clients’ passions. Shielding the house’s rear from harsh western sun, a covered deck creates a protected threshold space to encourage outdoor play and interaction with the garden.
This charming home is big on the little things; creating considered spaces that have a positive effect on daily life.

A fun and colourful kids bathroom in a newly built loft extension. A black and white terrazzo floor contrast with vertical pink metro tiles. Mid-sized contemporary master bathroom in London with an open shower, blue tile, ceramic tile, blue walls, ceramic floors, beige floor and a hinged shower door.

The bathroom is a compact space with low ceilings, so I wanted to make it feel as light and airy as possible. I kept the colours natural, adding texture and special luxurious touches with the terrazzo, sheer curtain, fluted glass, and tiles. These rich but subtle details catch your eye, making the room feel bigger.
The green glazed shower tiles pick up on the specks in the terrazzo floor tiles, and the Carrara marble skirting board adds luxury and creates another level of finish.
I specified ABI Interiors matching brassware. Their electric heated individual towel rails can be turned on and off whenever you need them to save energy. The shower controls are located just outside the shower enclosure, so you can turn the shower on in advance and let it warm up a little before you enter.
To maximise storage, I included an Aqua Roc basin with drawers underneath. The Carrara marble ledge and Tika Moon walnut wall unit provide even more space for my clients to stash things away.
The freestanding bath and circular Spark and Bell wall lights add softness and curves. The sheer curtain is mounted on a wave track to give a lovely, rippled effect.
