Having moved into this new build property, the client wanted to make his mark and give the home warmth and personality. He wanted each room to feel inviting and different. We created a restful haven in this guest bedroom. Balancing beautiful warm blue walls with pops of black. Adding impact with beautiful fabric for the cushions.

Sally was asked to design and oversee the complete refurbishment of this stunning yet poorly converted one bedroom apartment set in a handsome period mansion block on the outskirts of Covent Garden in Central London. Enormously high ceilings give this apartment a New York lofty feel while large original windows flood the space with natural light. Sally discovered that original windows and decorative pillars had been boarded up and so immediately set about reinstating these unique period features. A streamlined kitchen with expansive lightly veined worktops and contemporary oak cabinetry was designed to compliment a classic oak parquet floor, giving the apartment a light, contemporary and natural feel. Drenched in a soft duck egg blue the Master Bedroom feels calm and serene and a statement chandelier and velvet cushions and curtains in rich rust add dramatic contrast and a sense of luxury.

Dans cette suite parentale, le placard en dur a été déposé. Une tête de lit sur-mesure a été réalisé grâce à des tasseaux de MDF. Posés sur murs et plafond, ils donnent à la pièce une toute autre perspective. Pour garder ce charme du provençale, une tringle avec coussins suspendus a été placé sur les tasseaux, apportant un peu de douceur à l'ensemble. Un mélange parfait entre charme de l'ancien et modernité.
