The Highpoint HouseThis home was meant to feel collected. Although this home boasts modern features, the French Country style was hidden underneath and was exposed with furnishings. This home is situated in the trees and each space is influenced by the nature right outside the window. The palette for this home focuses on shades of gray, hues of soft blues, fresh white, and rich woods.

Innovative Design BuildOur design team listened carefully to our clients' wish list. They had a vision of a cozy rustic mountain cabin type master suite retreat. The rustic beams and hardwood floors complement the neutral tones of the walls and trim. Walking into the new primary bathroom gives the same calmness with the colors and materials used in the design.
Cheat Sheet DesignThe style profile for this space was eclectic, modern, and a touch of traditional - a mash up that has quickly become my favorite. This timeless space reflects the spunky personality of my client and shows theres more to her than meets the eye.
Aiden FabricsThe master had to be relaxing and inviting so Allison chose soothing wall colors and warm accents. She loved the selection of the medium teal as a backdrop for the space. Each piece of furniture was carefully selected – since they started from scratch – keeping a good, collective theme without appearing like a furniture set.
Lola InteriorsHidden coffee bar at entrance to master bedroom features retractable doors that can hide mess when not in use.

SkB ArchitectsOriginally built in 1955, this modest penthouse apartment typified the small, separated living spaces of its era. The design challenge was how to create a home that reflected contemporary taste and the client’s desire for an environment rich in materials and textures. The keys to updating the space were threefold: break down the existing divisions between rooms; emphasize the connection to the adjoining 850-square-foot terrace; and establish an overarching visual harmony for the home through the use of simple, elegant materials.
The renovation preserves and enhances the home’s mid-century roots while bringing the design into the 21st century—appropriate given the apartment’s location just a few blocks from the fairgrounds of the 1962 World’s Fair.
