Betz Pools LimitedBacking onto a private golf course north of Toronto, this classic pool has all the essential amenities. Accessible from the basement or main floor walkout, a bi-level cedar deck leads to the patio of architectural stamped concrete. There's ample room for lounging or entertaining. The pool's blue granite liner is framed by Wiarton flagstone coping, while three sheer descent waterfalls on a raised feature wall and an elevated spill over spa add sound and drama. The pool equipment is discreetly out of view behind the feature wall and berms and trees lend privacy. (20 x 40, rectangular)

This indoor lap swimming pool measures 8'0' x 75'0", and is outfitted with an automatic swimming pool safety cover. What really makes this pool unque is the perimeter recircuation system. The gutter, which is a commercial competition gutter simliar to olympic and collegiate-level swim meet pools, has three chambers that are gravity fed with pool surge. The lowest chamber has a pump that automatically returns the swimmer surge to the pool, which has the effect of maintaining quiescence for lap swimming. This will prevent splash back from the sides, as well as maintaining the fastest surface available. This space also features a 7'0" x 8'0" hot tub at deck level, to warm up the swimmers and to help them get their muscles loose after a strenuous workout. The pool and spa coping are Valder's Wisconsin Limestone. The pool pumps are both variable-speed, and the pool is heated partially by utilizing a geothermal system. A vaulted tongue and groove design was used for the ceiling of this space and the walls included a variety of natural materials like exposed stone, wood, and sheet metal. This design gave this pool house a warm and zen-like feeling with its range of natural & organic colors and textures.

Arbordale LandscapingOur client wanted to add a hot tub and new cabana to their poolscape. The cabana was designed with a bar in the front and pool equipment and storage in the back. The bar has a roll up door for winterising. A lounge area in front allows the home owners to enjoy a drink while watching the kids play in the pool. Flagstone patios, steps, and hot tub surround give this backyard a luxurious feel. The fence is built from custom milled Cedar horizontal boards. The fence is backed with black painted plywood for full privacy. A custom hot tub pit was built in order to use what is normally an above ground hot tub. The hot tub was supplied by Bonavista Pools. Composite lumber was used to build an access hatch for hot tub controls. Boxwood hedging frame the garden spaces. There are two Hydrangea Standard trees which are underplanted with begonias for a pop of colour. The existing Cedar hedge created a great backdrop and contrast for our Japanese Maple hedge. The existing Beech tree was stunning! Lawn area was necessary for the family pets.
