You can actually buy these lights from the supplier in the states. They're called haverhill by hudson valley lighting. i made enquiries and apparently the wiring is fine for Oz, it'll just need a new plug.. it's just very expensive to get them here :) so out of my budget.
If you get tem post a pic - would love to see.

Hi Guys,

A company called LightCo import and convert them to AUS standards, its not as simple as just changing the plug, you also need to change the lamp holder and if you buy straight from the states it wont be under any warranty. Check them out, they were really help when i bought from them or call them 1300 79 55 48

Love at first sight. The lucky owners of this classical home are spoilt for choice in this kitchen. Pull up a bar stool or linger over a meal in the sunny eating nook by the window.

Clearing out my kitchen was probably the part of the process I enjoyed the most because I could see, even while in the thick of it, that changes made here would make my life easier, clearer and simpler. Again, I was shocked at how much food I actually had. I can miss shopping for groceries for a few weeks. At least until the kids get sick of pasta.
