Deepdene Traditional Bathrooms

Traditional Bathroom, Melbourne

Three traditional bathrooms in a 19th century period home. In the main bathroom an original clawfoot bath was refurbished to it's past glory and takes pride of place. Herringbone carrara marble tiles are used on the floor and textured white brick pattern white tiles on the walls. Carrarra marble is also used for the vanity top and the niche above the bath. Modern convenience of a walk-in shower and heated towel rails make this a luxurious but functional space. The original window had to be retained so white shutters and antique mirror were used to keep the period feel. Photography by Vicki Morskate of VStyle Photography.
