Debbie Schwab Photography. The wall tiles are 12" x 12" black marble tiles I had the tile installers cut into threes. Stainless steel bars that were all custom cut are at the bottom and top of the tiles. Instead of having a standard niche that fits between studs, I had the guys frame out a wider one. Above it is another niche that is short just for housing soaps and razors. Next step is the glass.

What struck us strange about this property was that it was a beautiful period piece but with the darkest and smallest kitchen considering it's size and potential. We had a quite a few constrictions on the extension but in the end we managed to provide a large bright kitchen/dinning area with direct access to a beautiful garden and keeping the 'new ' in harmony with the existing building. ÉTAT DES LEUX: Situé au dernier étage d’un immeuble du XVIIIe siècle dans le centre historique de Nantes, le studio en "tipi" a beaucoup de charme mais il a été mal entretenu et les agencements sont grossièrement bricolés. La cuisine et la salle de bain notamment sont en très mauvais état et les tomettes anciennes ont subi toute sorte de dommage. MISSION: L’intervention a consisté à redonner tout son charme au lieu en mettant en valeur son volume, sa luminosité, et à en faire un petit appartement tout confort. Ici, ambiance vitaminée pour la pièce d'eau qui accueille en son centre le lavabo et la douche, et de part et d'autre, wc et lave-linge à gauche, et dressing à droite.
