Modern and spacious. A light grey wire-brush serves as the perfect canvas for almost any contemporary space. Samples are 12" cut pieces from planks. Good for inspecting the wear layer, texture, and color. With the Modin Collection, we have raised the bar on luxury vinyl plank. The result is a new standard in resilient flooring. Modin offers true embossed in register texture, a low sheen level, a rigid SPC core, an industry-leading wear layer, and so much more.

Adamik and Churney provided for a dividing wall to separate the kitchen from the living area, a decision that expanded possibilities in terms of how to best layout the space. At merely five-feet tall, the partition maintains the open-air feeling of the space, yet is ample enough to accommodate the entertainment center.
In order to unify the Living and Dining areas, Adamik chose a large-scale seagrass rug. It is latex-padded, making it not only comfortable under foot, but also an improvement in terms of sound dampening. "I layered an indigo blue Pakistani Gabbeh over the seagrass to define the living room," the designer explains. The layering of various textures and materials adds to the room's understated depth.

This project design was all about that zen, well-traveled lifestyle. We softened chunky, farmhouse furniture pieces with down-to-earth boho details and layered textures. We stayed within an earthy color palette with hints of cool blue to keep it calming and added lots of soft, natural textures. Most of the final elements we chose feature natural materials with hand-crafted details such as wood, raw marble, leather, cotton, grass, etc.

In this living room, we were working with an open concept floor plan that was both dining room and living room. We found a great emerald green velvet sofa -- it was giving us "art deco Paris", and we paired it with a vintage rattan armchair we found in a West Palm Beach antiques store, and a contemporary marble table. All sitting on top of the world's greatest sisal rug, Ikea's "Lohals" rug. This thing has never failed us! The walls are a very very light grey, and we installed inside-mount woven bamboo blinds for a classic effect.

Double aspect living room painted in Farrow & Ball Cornforth White, with a large grey rug layered with a cowhide (both from The Rug Seller). The large coffee table (100x100cm) is from La Redoute and it was chosen as it provides excellent storage. A glass table was not an option for this family who wanted to use the table as a footstool when watching movies!
The sofa is the Eden from the Sofa Workshop via DFS. The cushions are from H&M and the throw by Hermes, The brass side tables are via Houseology and they are by Dutchbone, a Danish interiors brand. The table lamps are by Safavieh. The roses canvas was drawn by the owner's grandma. A natural high fence that surrounds the back garden provides privacy and as a result the owners felt that curtains were not needed on this side of the room.
The floor is a 12mm laminate in smoked oak colour.

This project involved the remodelling of the ground and first floors and a small rear addition at a Victorian townhouse in Notting Hill.
The brief included opening-up the ground floor reception rooms so as to increase the illusion of space and light, and to fully benefit from the view of the landscaped communal garden beyond.
