My husband added brass hairpin legs to inexpensive computer desks with laptop compartments, integrated power strips and cord cutouts. Mike Z Designs created a custom wooden box to hide the ugly in-wall AC unit. The front panel slides out to allow the unit to operate.

The idea for this space came from two key elements: functionality and design. Being a multi-purpose space, this room presents a beautiful workstation with black and rattan desk atop a hair on hide zebra print rug. The credenza behind the desk allows for ample storage for office supplies and linens for the stylish and comfortable white sleeper sofa. Stunning geometric wall covering, custom drapes and a black and gold light fixture add to the collected mid-century modern and contemporary feel.

The architectural focus for this North London Victorian terrace home design project was the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the ground floor together with additional space of a new side-return. Orienting and organising the interior architecture to maximise sunlight during the course of the day was one of our primary challenges solved. While the front of the house faces south-southeast with wonderful direct morning light, the rear garden faces northwest, consequently less light for most of the day.

This home office/library was the favorite room of the clients and ourselves. The vaulted ceilings and high walls gave us plenty of room to create the bookshelves of the client's dreams.

Carly of carlyandsloan.com used two Annie dining chairs as seating in her feminine, chic studio space for photography and meeting with clients. The epitome of stylish, this transparent Annie dining chair puts an unique, modern spin on a timeless traditional design. Compatible with a wide range of decorating trends, it offers a hint of classic charm and major contemporary appeal.

This property was transformed from an 1870s YMCA summer camp into an eclectic family home, built to last for generations. Space was made for a growing family by excavating the slope beneath and raising the ceilings above. Every new detail was made to look vintage, retaining the core essence of the site, while state of the art whole house systems ensure that it functions like 21st century home.
This home was featured on the cover of ELLE Décor Magazine in April 2016.

Part of the ladies retreat, this bar is at the ready for friends to enjoy when hanging out with the owner. I love to repurpose antiques and this secretary was the perfect choice for setting up the bar. I added glass shelves and down lights to give it sparkle. Photo by Walt Roycraft
