Archadeck - Columbus
Archadeck of Columbus received the Archadeck Design Excellence Award for this project.
The winning project is a combination hardscape, deck, pergola and fire pit project in the Ballantrae subdivision of Dublin, Ohio. The deck area is high-aesthetic and low-maintenance as it was built using composite decking from the TimberTech PRO Legacy Collection. Legacy Collection’s decking boards are capped on all four sides to provide complete protection against mold, mildew, moisture damage, stains, scratches and fading.

Bringing south of the boarder to the north of the boarder our Mexican Baja theme courtyard/living room makeover in Coronado Island is where our client have their entertainment now and enjoy the great San Diego weather daily. We've designed the courtyard to be a true outdoor living space with a full kitchen, dinning area, and a lounging area next to an outdoor fireplace. And best of all a fully engaged 15 feet pocket door system that opens the living room right out to the courtyard. A dream comes true for our client!
Archadeck of Austin
What would you want to build under your deck if you had a deck that was 10 ft. off the ground? If you use the right kind of under-deck drainage system to keep the area dry, you can have anything your heart desires under that deck. For this project, Archadeck of Austin used an under-deck drainage system by Quality Edge called InsideOut® Underdeck. This system gave the homeowners a “dry deck space” and created room for an entire outdoor living area below the deck.

A mixture of stone and brick lends an earthy feel that allows the home to blend with the surrounding lakefront landscape. A series of bay windows on the rear of the home maximizes views from every room. Enjoy outdoor living with screened and covered porches, along with patios and a terraced lawn.

Archadeck of Columbus Delivers Year-Round Enjoyment with a 3-Season Room/Patio/Hardscape/Fire Pit Combination in Dublin, OH
Sometimes a tired, aging wooden deck just needs to be RE-tired, as in “retired,” as in replaced by a patio. That was the case for these Dublin, OH, homeowners who decided to go with a fresh, new paver patio and hardscape from Archadeck of Columbus instead of redecking or having a new deck installed. They also upgraded their screened porch by turning it into a 3-season room. Their instincts were good. Look how this stunning patio and 3-season room combination space has brought new life to their back yard!

A pair of antique Mexican doors invite you into the front courtyard of the Spanish style home. Mr. Dodge designed a fountain with the interior being soft blue glass tiles. The client selected rock from one of their ranches through which the water trickles out from the top. Bougainvilleas spill from balconies around the home year long.

For this project we built a custom stain and stamp concrete patio in a 36" Ashlar stamp pattern. Working with the slope of the yard, we incorporated a hardscape retaining wall into the project. The low wall embraces the patio and creates a visual boundary for the space. An additional hardscape element is the gas-burning fire pit. We built these hardscapes with Techno-bloc blocks and wall caps.

A new spa was placed at the edge of the patio, thrust out over the edge and into the view, grounded with stone planters.

This charming patio combines multiple materials and weaves them together to create a warm and romantic getaway from the pressures of the day. The stone fireplace is built from block on site and covered in a manufactured stone veneer. It also includes accents of flagstone on the hearth, brick soldier accents and a stone slab mantle and brackets and to top it all off a cool Texas star. Throw in the stone pavers, pea gravel steps, small stone seating wall and stone border walkway and you have a very eclectic mixture of materials that come together to form a great space for entertaining.
