Hi Colleen, The important thing if you're looking for high level screening like this is the shape of the trees and this type of training on a bamboo frame is known as 'pleaching'.

Pleached trees do come in Hornbeam but if you are looking for year-round screening consider an evergreen variety such as Photinia 'red-robin'. If you have access to a trade nursery they will be able to get them for you or ask your local professional garden designer or landscaper to source them for you. The need to be securely staked as well so installation is critical.

    best of luck! Stephen
