The brief was to create a peaceful, feminine ambience for a teen girl who shares the bathroom with guests on occasion. Given her age, her playful personality and our Studio’s propensity for doing things a little differently, our concept was to go for serenity with a splash of whimsy. The wet room zone was left to the creation of a wide open shower, without boundaries, defined only by the terrazzo ledge and the barely-there glass blade. A space that called for nothing more than time and quiet to escape entirely.
