We designed and built a 2-story, 2-stall garage addition on this Cape Cod style home in Westwood, MA. We removed the former breezeway and single-story, 2-stall garage and replaced it with a beautiful and functional design. We replaced the breezeway (which did not connect the garage and house) with a mudroom filled with space and storage (and a powder room) as well as the 2-stall garage and a main suite above. The main suite includes a large bedroom, walk-in closest (hint - those two small dormers you see) and a large main bathroom. Back on the first floor, we relocated a bathroom, renovated the kitchen and above all, improved form, flow and function between spaces. Our team also replaced the deck which offers a perfect combination of indoor/outdoor living.

Dive into luxury from the largest dock on Lake Sammamish. An everyday oasis destined for an exhilarating way of life on 177’ of lakefront bound by architectural precision, tumbling waterfalls & a rare indoor-outdoor infinity edge pool. Meticulously crafted to host a few, or a few hundred with a casually elegant lake house charm. Whether marveling in secret spaces, floating down the lazy river or serving up volleyball on your private beach, an everlasting spirit of discovery happily resides here.

This mountain home has an amazing location nestled in the forest in Conifer, Colorado. Built in the late 1970s this home still had the charm of the 70s inside and out when the homeowner purchased this home in 2019– it still had the original green shag carpet inside! Just like it was time to remove and replace the old green shag carpet, it was time to remove and replace the old T1-11 siding!
Colorado Siding Repair installed James Hardie Color Plus lap siding in Aged Pewter with Arctic White trim. We added James Hardie Color Plus Staggered Shake in Cobblestone to add design flair to the exterior of this truly unique home. We replaced the siding with James Hardie Color Plus Siding and used Sherwin-Williams Duration paint for the rest of the house to create a seamless exterior design. The homeowner wanted to move a window and a door and we were able to help make that happen during the home exterior remodel.
What’s your favorite part of this update? We love the stagger shake in Cobblestone!

I was asked to design a new family home, for a lot that is third row back from the beach. As you can see the lot had numerous trees, all leaning in various directions, had to be accounted for. Besides the neighborhood restrictions the town, imposes even tighter guidelines on the mass and size of the building.
The collaberation with my client has ended up with thise lovely new home, just waiting for memories to be made.
Hee we can see the covered front porch with an open air second porch above. To help with the efficiency of the floor plan, due to site limitation, that fromt entry door is tucked around on the left side of the home.
We wanted a the home to have a "beachy" vibe to the architecture style. I incorporated a number of "low country architectural" design elements to provide the beach cottage feel. We used NuCedar shingle siding for ease of maintance and Hardie trim, for the some reason. The home owner choose a bronze standing seam metal roof to compliment the soft grey shingle color.

After. A new curved roofline frames the new front door. Upper windows were added and new French doors to the front patio extend from the family room.

This is one of our favorite projects to date because of the beautiful modern farmhouse look achieved here.

Our clients were relocating from the upper peninsula to the lower peninsula and wanted to design a retirement home on their Lake Michigan property. The topography of their lot allowed for a walk out basement which is practically unheard of with how close they are to the water. Their view is fantastic, and the goal was of course to take advantage of the view from all three levels. The positioning of the windows on the main and upper levels is such that you feel as if you are on a boat, water as far as the eye can see. They were striving for a Hamptons / Coastal, casual, architectural style. The finished product is just over 6,200 square feet and includes 2 master suites, 2 guest bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, sunroom, home bar, home gym, dedicated seasonal gear / equipment storage, table tennis game room, sauna, and bonus room above the attached garage. All the exterior finishes are low maintenance, vinyl, and composite materials to withstand the blowing sands from the Lake Michigan shoreline.
