Kensington Town House
Contemporary Garden, London
We designed and constructed a beautiful BALI award winning garden for this Kensington town house. The original layout was very angular and the client wanted to improve access from the basement living space. Bartholomew’s brief was to create a feeling of space and to ensure that the whole garden was usable by the whole family throughout the year. An elegant sweeping staircase wraps around a central water feature and a green wall with naturalistic planting adds life to an otherwise sterile space. The garden was designed using AutoCAD and a 3d model was produced to illustrate the gentle curves and winding steps and paths.
