This was a full backyard renovation with a complete overhaul of an existing pool. The pool was completely refinished and raised to make shallower. The shallow end was raised as well to add a 'baja shelf' so that users can enjoy the benefits of the without completely jumping. A truly relaxing place to enjoy. BKLD also designed a deck connecting the living room and master bedroom spaces to allow for true California indoor/outdoor living. The brand new fence creates a backdrop for trees and shrubs that soften the hardscape.

This stone pool patio is encircled by the property's rich, rural views and accents, this natural poolscape serves as a respite for complete relaxation both in the heat of summer and on cool nights by the fire pit. A combination of modern structure and hand-chosen natural stones create this one-of-a-kind patio, providing a work of art to be experienced by residents and guests alike. Set atop an island of smooth, distinctive stones, guests smoothly travel between the in-ground pool, full outdoor kitchen and dynamic lounging space that spreads throughout the property. At the end of the evening, a group can gather around the stone-stacked fire pit that looks out of the river that weaves its way into the distance. This unique design fully complements the beauty of its natural haven.

The 17’ x 35’ custom vinyl pool is surrounded by a slate grey flagstone deck set on concrete. The pool’s matching slate grey, tooled edge coping helps to extend the look. The hardscapes offer the benefit of being low maintenance, while the rich variety of shrubs and plantings help to soften the overall feel.
